Fulham is one of the oldest football clubs in England and was founded in 1879. Once owned by multibillionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed – the owner of the prestigious Harrods department store in London’s Knightsbridge – Fulham’s greatest achievement came recently as 2009 when finishing 7th in the Premier League.
They reached the UEFA Cup Final the following year but lost 2-1 in a tight match against Atletico Madrid.
The club has produced English greats including Bobby Robson, Rodney Marsh, Alan Mullery and George Cohen.
